Update [04 Jan 2010|04:25am] prowl20 Alright, so rather than save up all of my money towards going to Canada in March, Paula is coming to Boston for a week. I'm beyond stoked for this! Also, the funds The Saddest Landscape have been acquiring (from merch, etc) has been able to pay for my share of the practice space for the next month or two, double awesome! This coming week I will be working 8-12 hour days at my receptionist job, and most of, if not all of the money will likely be going towards my plane ticket. (The Saddest Landscape is going to Europe in the summer.) I wasn't told any details, or even who we'd be going with, but Andy mentioned that I'd shit my pants when I found out, I'm pretty anxious to know. I don't think we're going to the UK but likely Germany and around there? I honestly don't know much. I do know that we also got offered to play Malaysia. Basically I'm looking at $800+ dollars for a round trip ticket. If I can even make $500 this week towards that, I'm stoked. I've been cutting a lot of funds for other stuff, such as records, food, etc. I plan on selling a lot of my records on ebay at some point in the near future. Holy crap life rules [26 Dec 2009|02:11am] prowl20 Alright, so I had received my Christmas present a few months earlier in exchange for not receiving anything on the day of Christmas. My present was a round trip bus ticket to go see Paula in North Bay, Ontario. For those not familiar, it's roughly 600 miles north of Boston and give or take 6 hours past Toronto. There I stayed for about six days and seriously had the best time of my life. We ended up sleeping in just about everyday until 2pm, some days later than that, and doing lots of cutesy stuff. It was very low key and I couldn't have asked for more fun. I entered Canada as a single man, I left Canada with a girlfriend who lives in the Great White North. So stoked on life right now like you don't even know. <3 post comment
